Saturday weddings – A minimum of Bride plus 3 other members of your wedding party.

Mid week – There are no minimum requirements for mid week weddings. Smaller bridal parties and elopements welcomed with a discounted rate.

Out of Season – From 1st October through to 31st March there are no minimum requirements to bridal parties. Smaller bridal parties and elopements welcomed, with a discounted rate.

Maximum numbers – The maximum number of people I can do on your wedding morning is usually 5 however if the time of your ceremony does dictate this, an earlier ceremony may mean less numbers so please do discuss this with me on your initial contact. I am always happy to recommend a second MUA top assist on the day, however this would be a separate contract between you and the chosen MUA.

Overnight accommodation – I may need a simple hotel/B&B close to your wedding the night before if my journey time is 1.5 one way or if your bridal party needs to start at an earlier time. Please discuss this with me at the time your booking.

Payments by the client

A £50 booking fee is required to secure and hold your day, making it exclusive to you. This covers any admin costs and correspondence from the time of your booking right up to the day of your wedding. I also require £100 as a prepayment for your trial/preview. Therefore your whole booking fee is £150.

Travel is charged at 70p per mile, round trip. Any parking, toll, congestion charge and/or accommodation costs incurred will be added to your final balance. Please note there are no on the day payments. The full balance must be cleared 30 days before your actual wedding day.

Early morning fee’s – If I need to leave my house before 6am there will be a charge added to your invoice so please do check with me regarding timings and if this applies. Early morning fees are charge £30 per 30 mins.

Cancellations by you. If you cancel after your trial, your booking fee will be held, this will cover any work carried out to date, admin etc and covers your preview/trial.

Cancellation between 15 and 28 days from the date of final appointment = cancellation charge equivalent to 50% of the total cost of the booking.

Cancellation between 8 and 14 days from the date of the final appointment = cancellation charge equivalent to 75% of the total cost of the booking.

Cancellation within 7 days of the final appointment = cancellation charge equivalent to 100% of the total cost of the booking.
Should the client wish to cancel this booking at any stage written notice must be given [address and/or email]. Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt of the written cancellation and you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that may have been levied. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt therefore the client is advised to check that the cancellation has been received.

I strongly advise ALL brides to take out WEDDING INSURANCE once your date has been confirmed.

Cancellations by me

Until the booking fee is received, no booking, provisional or otherwise is made. Once I confirm your booking, the date will be reserved for you.

In the very unlikely event that I am too ill to do your wedding makeup I will do our very best to find an alternative makeup artist to take my place. I write down everything I use and take pictures so another makeup artist could easily copy what I have done.
