Alex & Alice Wedding at Tracey Estate, Devon.

When I first met Alice at her trial I remember thinking how naturally beautiful she was. Alice wore a white linen dress with pretty thin straps, simple yet sophisticated and perfect for her makeup trial. It was a sunny summer’s day when she visited me in my Devon studio for a detailed consultation during which time we discussed different make-up looks, hair styles and Alice’s dress – which just so happened to be a gorgeous two piece, ‘Grace loves Lace’ number. Alice showed me pictures of her flowers and style of photography and the photographer she had chosen. It was obvious to me that Alice had been meticulously planning her wedding for quite some time. This is why when brides ask whether having a trial is important or not? I have to say, A BIG FAT YES! Why take the chance of looking anything other than awesome on one of the most photographed days of your life?

Alice wanted a natural make up, something to even out her complexion and brighten her skin. Alice was prone to eczema so she was particularly worried about how her skin was going to react on the day. Alice booked her trial just after her hen and on the day we met her eczema was clearly visible, she was going to cancel and I am so glad she didn’t purely because I was able to put her mind at rest.
